South Florida Pulmonary Care, Inc. (SFPC) was founded in 1989 by Ernie Padron, a Respiratory Therapist who saw a need for a highly specialized HME company to take care of critical care patients in the home setting.
SFPC is a leader in South Florida and provides both equipment and clinical management of patients on invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
With its headquarters in Miami Lakes, FL SFPC service area includes St. Lucie to Monroe counties, with future expansion from Orlando to Tampa areas.
SFPC is accredited by The Joint Commission and employs Licensed Respiratory Therapists for home Ventilator and Chronic Care COPD program visits and Registered Nurses which perform case management and care coordination.
In 2017 Dr. Victor Valdes joined SFPC as Executive Vice-President & Chief Clinical Innovations Officer bringing his proven Chronic Care Management and Telemedicine expertise that now expands to Invasive and Non-Invasive clinical management, and COPD chronic care programs to keeps patients safely at home while reducing unnecessary hospital utilization.
